Puerto Rico Recovery Efforts

The Community Engineering Corps is headed to Puerto Rico, where the island’s 3.7 million U.S. citizens are still in the earliest stages of their long road to recovery.

Though the CECorps is not a disaster relief organization, Hurricane Maria shined a light on an already dire situation for seven residential communities on the western side of the island. The project will provide clean drinking water for the communities and develop a long-term resiliency plan to protect them from future disasters.
