Woodstock, New Hampshire

Jeff Ingalls was a 20-year Veteran of the US Navy. During his service, he was held captive for over two weeks and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Ingalls was diagnosed as suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) upon returning home to North Woodstock, New Hampshire.

Jeff Ingalls was a 20-year Veteran of the US Navy. During his service, he was held captive for over two weeks and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Ingalls was diagnosed as suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) upon returning home to North Woodstock, New Hampshire. Through Jeff's search for support, he found that there were deficiencies in counseling services and assistance provided to the military veteran community. Therefore, Jeff took it upon himself to bridge this gap and founded Vet’s Rest Stop (VRS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides holistic services for veterans, including temporary housing for veterans experiencing homelessness. VRS was a manifestation of Ingalls’ lifetime of service, providing others with “a hand up not a handout.”
Hickman County, Tennessee

Nestled in the mountains just west of Nashville Tennessee, there’s a quiet community where nearly 500 residents enjoy lush natural surroundings and the calmer pace of rural life. However, life in this idyllic setting comes with some challenges, notably water.

Cherokee Hills, Tennessee

The Cherokee Hills Utility District (CHUD) serves a small area on the west side of Ducktown, Tennessee, with approximately 300 customers.

The Snowed Inn RV and Trailer Park located in this majestic area found out during a routine inspection that their sanitary sewer was in violation of the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) codes.

Tulsa Youth Services, Oklahoma

On any given night there are 1,700 homeless youth in Tulsa, OK. Cell phones serve as a lifeline for these kids, connecting them to services, friends, and families, and providing a source of safety.

McKinnell House, Alaska

The McKinnell House is a Salvation Army homeless shelter located in Anchorage, Alaska. Its goal is to help homeless families in Anchorage thrive by providing lodging, meals, staff support and more.

Sonoma County Disaster Recovery, California

In October 2017, the Tubbs fire raced through canyons and over hills, jumping the six lanes of Highway 101, ravaging everything in its wake.

Grover Hill, Ohio

Grover Hill is a little community in northwest Ohio that has a big wastewater problem. The town’s collection system is rundown and overflows during storms, resulting in sewer backups.
